Valena Moonwhisper
Druid
Valena Moonwhisper
Species
Moonwood Elf
Appearance
Valena is a tall, weathered elven woman whose movements are almost unnaturally quiet. Her skin has the matte texture of pale river stone, crossed by faint green lines that brighten whenever she approaches a primal shrine. Her hair hangs in heavy ropes like moonlit moss, threaded with small bones, seed pods, and seven polished pieces of blue glass. One side of her face is serene and youthful, while the other is creased by a branching scar that resembles a burned root system. She walks with a slight limp, yet can cross wet leaves without disturbing a single one. Her expression suggests patient wisdom, but her hands are always clenched as if she is resisting the urge to tear open the earth.
“Her voice is low, musical, and slightly delayed, as if the forest repeats her words after she speaks. She uses precise language in public, but her private speech becomes fragmented and sensory, full of references to temperature, roots, rain, and remembered footsteps.”

Distinguishing Features
A branching burn scar covers the left side of her face.
Her pupils resemble tiny silver leaves and widen near active leyline fractures.
A small fern grows from a hollow in her left antler-shaped ear cuff.
Her shadow sometimes moves a heartbeat after she does.
She has no visible reflection in water touched by corrupted magic.
Voice
“A resonant alto softened by breathy pauses, with the faint sound of leaves rubbing together beneath certain words”
Clothing
A layered mantle of green-black barkcloth, soft gray wool, and translucent leaf silk. Her cloak is stitched with seven concentric circles, each made from a different living vine. Beneath it she wears practical traveling clothes, mud-stained boots, and a belt carrying seed capsules instead of coin pouches.
Body Language
Valena keeps her shoulders relaxed but her fingers move constantly, tracing invisible branching patterns in the air. She turns her entire body toward anyone speaking, as if listening with more than her ears. When angry, she becomes motionless and lowers her chin. When grieving, she touches the scar on her face and looks toward the nearest patch of darkness.
