Appearance
In its true form, Veyra appears as a tall, smooth-skinned humanoid with no visible pores, a narrow jaw, and features that seem gently unfinished, as though sculpted from warm candle wax. Their body moves with unsettling grace, stopping a fraction too late after every gesture. Their skin is pearl-gray with faint lavender undertones, but their palms are dark as bruised fruit. They keep their face pleasant and symmetrical until danger appears, when the features slide apart like wet paint and reform into something almost familiar. The unexpected contradiction is their hands: delicate and elegant at rest, yet capable of stretching into long, knuckled limbs during combat. Veyra leaves people with the impression that they have just remembered a stranger from childhood.
“Their natural voice is soft, genderless, and slightly layered, as if a second speaker is repeating the last syllable. While disguised, they reproduce accents flawlessly but sometimes retain their unnatural pauses.”

Distinguishing Features
Their true face subtly changes expression before their emotions catch up.
The fingertips of their left hand are permanently stained violet from alchemical memory ink.
They cast no reflection in polished silver, though glass reflects them normally.
They wear a tiny brass button engraved with a face nobody recognizes.
Their shadow occasionally has a different posture than their body.
Voice
“A gentle, intimate voice that becomes warmer when lying and flatter when telling the truth. Their laughter often begins in one voice and ends in another.”
Clothing
A charcoal traveling coat lined with scraps of different uniforms, a high-collared plum shirt, soft black boots, fingerless gloves, and a narrow silver mask worn at the throat. Every garment is reversible, and several seams conceal pockets.
Body Language
Veyra rarely blinks while listening. Their head tilts toward voices like a curious bird, while their fingers quietly trace the contours of nearby objects. In anger, their posture becomes unnaturally still. In genuine affection, their borrowed face loses its practiced symmetry and briefly reveals their true, unfinished features.
