Iunathar Vael-Cinder
Immortal Phoenix God, Divine Spellcaster
Iunathar Vael-Cinder
Species
Immortal God
Appearance
Iunathar appears as an ethereal masculine silhouette whose body is translucent enough to reveal radiant violet veins moving beneath the surface like molten starlight. Cascading hues of silver, lavender, and bruised purple shimmer across his form with every breath. Two immense wings unfurl behind him, each feather formed from spectral flame and edged in cold moonlight. A hovering corona of phoenix quills circles his head, each quill burning without heat. His movements are graceful and weightless until emotion breaks through, at which point his gestures become abrupt and almost painfully mortal. The unexpected contradiction is his hands: they are callused, scarred, and stained with gray ash, as though he still remembers laboring beside a mortal funeral pyre.
“His voice sounds like a calm tenor speaking from inside a vast cathedral, layered with distant wingbeats and the crackle of a dying fire. Every sentence seems to arrive half a heartbeat before his lips move.”

Distinguishing Features
A corona of spectral phoenix feathers floats above his head without touching him.
His luminous veins visibly pulse beneath his translucent skin.
A vertical crack of silver light runs from his left temple to his jaw.
His shadow sometimes depicts him as a burning skeleton rather than a living figure.
Purple embers drift from his fingertips whenever he feels grief.
His wings shed feathers that dissolve into tiny images of forgotten faces.
Voice
“A warm, resonant tenor layered with distant choral echoes, as if every word is spoken by one living person and remembered by a thousand dead ones.”
Clothing
He wears layered robes of ash-gray and deep violet, woven from common phoenix plumage and threaded with starlight-blue fiber. The hems are stitched with living runes that pulse like embers beneath ice. Over his shoulders hangs a mantle of true Spectral Phoenix feathers, and a single feather mask rests against the right side of his face rather than covering it. His sash carries small black bells that make no sound.
Body Language
Iunathar holds himself with impossible stillness, as if gravity is a decision he has chosen not to make. His wings flare with his emotions before his face changes. When someone speaks of the dead, he presses two ash-stained fingers against his sternum. When lying, he closes one eye for exactly one heartbeat.
