Appearance
Nhalessa appears as a tall, elegant outsider whose body seems assembled from warm skin, cooled candle wax, and smoke trapped beneath glass. Her movements are slow enough to appear languid, yet she is always exactly where a conversation requires her to be. Fine cracks run from her throat to her wrists, glowing faintly with ember-red light when she lies. Her smile is intimate and inviting, but her shadow often bends away from her as if trying to escape. Unexpectedly, she has the soft, tired hands of a careful gardener, with soil beneath her nails and small burns across her fingertips.
