Nymra Vey-Sol
Rainwright Courier
Nymra Vey-Sol
Species
Rainwrought
Appearance
Nymra is a narrow, long-limbed Rainwrought with translucent skin that seems to hold drifting threads of silver beneath its surface. Her body has the soft sheen of wet river stones, yet her hands are dry and warm enough to comfort a frightened child. She moves with a slight delay, as though each gesture must pass through deep water before becoming real. When she stands still, droplets gather around her ankles even indoors. Her most contradictory feature is her smile, which is broad, sunny, and almost embarrassingly cheerful despite the mournful reputation of her people.
“Soft, quick, and observant. Her voice has the hush of rain on canvas, but her laughter is startlingly loud.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale crack runs from her left temple to her jaw, glowing faintly before storms.
Her shadow resembles a puddle rather than a humanoid silhouette.
A brass key is embedded beneath the skin of her right palm.
Her footprints fill with clean water seconds after she walks away.
Voice
“A low, bright contralto with a wet-room echo. When frightened, the echo becomes a second voice that finishes her sentences half a second late.”
Clothing
A patched charcoal traveling coat lined with waxed blue cloth, a copper rain-collar, fingerless gloves, waterproof trousers, and a belt hung with tiny labeled vials. She wears one bright yellow sock and one black sock, insisting that matched clothing makes storms suspicious.
Body Language
Tilts her head as if listening to distant rainfall, folds her hands behind her back when lying, and taps two fingers against her wrist whenever she is afraid. Her reflection often moves a heartbeat after she does.
