The boundary between the two halves runs from crown to heel in a perfectly irregular line, like a lightning scar. His four-inch claws slide from each fingertip with the quiet click of folding knives. He moves with startling delicacy for someone so immense, placing each foot as though walking across a sleeping person's ribs. His face is handsome in a severe, almost ceremonial way, but the pale side smiles more readily than the black side, creating the unsettling impression that two different men are sharing one expression.
