Nami Kord
Species
Human
Appearance
Nami Kord is compact, broad-shouldered, and built like someone carved from a ship’s anchor chain. Her movements are deceptively economical until the instant she explodes forward, when she becomes all hooked elbows, planted heels, and terrifying momentum. Her nose has been broken twice and healed slightly crooked. A pale scar crosses one eyebrow, while a constellation of old rope burns circles both wrists. She smiles with a chipped canine and keeps her fingernails brutally short. The unexpected contradiction is her hands: enormous, callused, and frighteningly strong, yet she handles small glass charms with the care of a jeweler. In a crowded room, people feel her presence before they notice her face.
“Her speech is quick, colloquial, and performative, with the cadence of a ring announcer and the timing of a tavern comedian. She peppers sentences with mock introductions, sudden whispers, and short Hungarian-flavored exclamations such as ‘Na, come on’ without leaning into a caricature.”

Chipped left canine
Pale scar through the right eyebrow
Old rope burns around both wrists
A championship belt containing hidden evidence against a criminal wrestling syndicate

Voice
“A warm contralto with a rasp at the edges, capable of filling an arena without shouting. Her laugh arrives suddenly and loudly, while her quietest words sound like a promise made across a grave.”
Clothing
A sleeveless wine-red ring coat stitched with faded gold suns, black canvas trousers reinforced at the knees, soft-soled wrestling boots, fingerless hand wraps, and a broad championship belt worn diagonally across her torso. Her coat’s inner lining is patched with scraps from old arenas and embroidered with the names of people she has helped escape them.
Body Language
Nami stands with her weight slightly forward, as if the floor has challenged her personally. Before a fight she rolls her shoulders, taps both wrists, and squares her feet. When angry, she stops moving entirely. When amused, she leans close enough to make people wonder whether she is about to whisper or headbutt them.
