Appearance
Eldemere is a narrow-shouldered human woman with the weathered elegance of someone who has spent half her life outdoors and the other half beside dangerous books. Fine silver scars cross her knuckles like cracks in old porcelain, while a single dark braid hangs to her waist, threaded with copper wire and tiny blue glass beads. Her face is long and hawkish, softened by laugh lines that deepen whenever she is angry. She walks with a slight forward lean, as if following a sound no one else can hear. Her hands are ink-stained, her boots are muddy, and her movements are startlingly graceful for someone who dresses like a village clerk. She leaves behind the faint scents of hot metal, rain-soaked wool, and bitter orange peel.
“Her speech is measured and vivid, full of precise comparisons drawn from weather, metalwork, and music. She pauses before names, as though weighing their hidden meanings.”

Distinguishing Features
A lattice of silver scars across both knuckles that glows dull amber near the Brazen Egg.
One eyebrow is naturally split by an old burn scar, giving her a permanently skeptical expression.
Her shadow sometimes moves a heartbeat after she does when Anthradusk is nearby.
A small copper tooth replaces one of her upper incisors.
She wears a blue glass bead from Cozmioko's hoard braided into her hair, despite despising blue dragons.
Voice
“A low, clear contralto with a dry warmth, like a bell heard through rain. Her laughter arrives suddenly and ends before she can become embarrassed by it.”
Clothing
A high-collared charcoal traveling coat lined with faded saffron silk, layered over a cream linen blouse, fitted trousers, and mud-dark riding boots. Copper clasps hold the coat shut, and a broad leather belt carries chalk, lenses, vials, and three battered notebooks.
Body Language
Eldemere keeps her elbows close and her fingers moving, usually tracing invisible diagrams against her palm. When relaxed, she leans toward people with open curiosity. When afraid, she becomes perfectly still except for the thumb of her left hand rubbing the scar across her knuckles.
