Aeren Stormweaver
Stormbound Arcanist
Aeren Stormweaver
Species
High Elf
Appearance
A tall, weather-worn elf with the stillness of a lighthouse and the restless motion of a thundercloud. His skin is ash-pale and freckled with tiny silver marks that brighten before lightning strikes. His long hair drifts upward as though submerged in water, even indoors, and its coarse strands crackle softly against one another. One side of his face is deeply lined, while the other remains strangely youthful. He walks with a slight limp but can cross a swaying deck without touching the rails. His presence smells of rain on hot stone. The unexpected contradiction is his delicate, almost scholarly appearance paired with hands scarred like those of a shipwright.
“Measured and scholarly, with long pauses before emotionally important statements. His voice becomes clipped and resonant during emergencies, as if carrying over wind.”

Distinguishing Features
Silver lightning-shaped marks across the left side of his body.
A brass artificial fingertip that hums near unstable magic.
A missing left earlobe, torn away during the first storm backlash.
His shadow occasionally points toward the storm pillar instead of away from the light.
Voice
“A low, weathered tenor with a faint static rasp, like distant thunder heard through a stone wall.”
Clothing
A layered indigo robe reinforced with sailcloth, a sleeveless gray stormcoat stitched with copper thread, knee-high weatherproof boots, and a belt hung with keys, chalk, tuning forks, and miniature glass barometers.
Body Language
He keeps one hand near his storm staff and tilts his head toward distant thunder as if listening to speech. When ashamed, he folds his fingers into the sleeve of his robe. When hopeful, the silver marks on his skin glow faintly.
