Reality is imagined as a set of concentric distances: the mortal world at the center, the star-courts beyond, and the farthest reaches where the gods stand almost beyond sight. Each deity rules a principle that mortals can approach but never fully grasp. The heavens do not descend; instead, their influence is received as omens, decrees, burdens, and revelations from afar.

The religion is organized as a loose celestial order of temples, road-shrines, archive houses, oath courts, funerary chapels, and fortress cults. No single priesthood controls the whole faith; instead, each deity's clergy answers to its own rites while recognizing the others as necessary, distant powers. Public theology insists the gods are balanced by separation, and that too much intimacy with any one of them invites ruin.

Mortals are treated as distant partners, not beloved children. The gods intervene rarely, usually through omens, inherited obligations, and the pressure of institutions rather than direct apparitions. Kingdoms rise by aligning with one deity's principle while surviving the suspicion of its rivals.

The dead cross the Veiled Distance, a twilight expanse of silent roads and far-off lanterns where souls are sorted by the vows they kept, the lies they told, and the powers they served. The faithful of Mnemos and Veyra are granted clear paths and enduring echoes; the broken, the cruel, and the oathless drift through cold reaches until Telor claims their names or Sable takes their memories.
