A wet honk cuts through the dock. Pepper flaps from a netted crate as two river mephits skid across the planks, water streaming off their fins. A broad-shouldered dock brute hauls the goose toward the steps and snarls, "Drop your steel or she rides the river."

Stacked fish crates, a bait barrel, and a handcart blocking sightlines. Good cover, bad footing.

A short run of dock steps down to knee-deep river water and reeds. The monsters know every soft spot.
Terrain Levers
- Cut the mooring ropes to make a drifting barrier.
- Kick over fish crates to make cover and difficult terrain.
- Shove a dock plank loose to force a narrow jump over the water.
