Khurzhen Varg
Wizard
Khurzhen Varg
Species
Hobgoblin
Appearance
Khurzhen is a long-limbed hobgoblin with the weathered look of someone who has slept more often beneath bridges than roofs. His skin has a muted brick-red tone, roughened along the knuckles and jaw by old frostbite. A narrow scar runs from the corner of his mouth to his left ear, pulling his smile into a permanent crooked suggestion. He moves with careful economy, never wasting a step, yet his hands are unexpectedly delicate when handling books, dead insects, or frightened children. His ears are pierced with mismatched copper rings, and one canine tooth has been replaced by a polished river pebble. He gives the impression of a dangerous traveler until he begins humming lullabies in empty rooms.
“His voice is low, dry, and precise, with clipped consonants and a faint caravan accent. He speaks slowly when lying and rapidly when discussing maps, weather, or magic.”
