Mikel Kharadze
Fighter
Mikel Kharadze
Species
Human
Appearance
Mikel is a narrow-shouldered human man with the compact, weathered body of someone who has spent years climbing ruined watchtowers and sleeping beneath wagons. His movements are quiet but never smooth. He advances in small, deliberate shifts, as if every floor might collapse. His face is sharply planed, with a flattened nose, a split lower lip, and a pale scar that runs from his left temple to the hinge of his jaw. His hands are stained permanently orange from alchemical clay. He gives the impression of a tired predator until he smiles, at which point he looks unexpectedly gentle and almost boyish. The contradiction unsettles people more than his scars do.
“Plain, economical, and edged with mountain proverbs. Mikel speaks quickly when giving directions, slowly when lying, and with unnerving softness when making a threat.”

Distinguishing Features
A pale iron-burn scar from his left temple to his jaw.
Orange-stained fingertips and a thumbnail split down the center.
A brass button sewn inside his collar bearing the crest of a dissolved border regiment.
A small notch missing from his right ear.
His shadow seems fractionally delayed when he is exhausted, an unsettling effect caused by old exposure to an unstable magical fire.
Voice
“A low, dry baritone with a faint rasp, as though every sentence has passed through smoke. His accent carries clipped mountain consonants and a soft, rolling rhythm.”
Clothing
A patched indigo wool coat fastened with mismatched brass toggles, a sleeveless quilted vest, loose charcoal trousers, soft leather boots, and a red-and-cream woven sash used to bind tools, maps, and emergency splints.
Body Language
Mikel leans slightly toward exits and keeps one foot angled for movement. When relaxed, he rolls a small lump of orange clay between his fingers. He rarely points at people, but taps objects twice when emphasizing a warning.
