Appearance
Raska Vellumhide is a small female goblin with a hunched, spring-loaded posture and long fingers permanently darkened by tannin. Her movements are quick but strangely deliberate, as if every step were measured against an invisible pattern. She has a broad, flattened nose, chipped lower tusks, and one ear pierced with a brass button from a dead soldier's coat. Her hide apron is stiff with wax, scarred by knives, and patched with pieces of red ceremonial leather. Unexpectedly, she carries herself with the grave dignity of a court tailor, bowing before speaking even when covered in blood and mud. The impression she leaves is of a clever animal that has somehow learned the manners of a forgotten aristocracy.
“Her voice is low, rapid, and surprisingly polished, with clipped consonants and occasional formal flourishes. When excited, she drops into Goblin proverbs.”

Distinguishing Features
A brass coat button pierces her left ear.
Her fingertips are permanently brown from tannin and dye.
A thin white scar circles her throat, hidden beneath her red scarf.
She has one ivory tusk and one blackened tusk.

Voice
“A dry, quick alto with a careful theatrical cadence, like a stage performer trying not to wake someone sleeping nearby.”
Clothing
A waxed brown leather apron over a faded blue shirt, patched trousers, soft-soled boots, a red scarf tied around one arm, and a belt crowded with awls, needles, tiny knives, waxed thread, and folded scraps of marked leather.
Body Language
Raska tilts her head toward sounds before looking at them, rubs her thumb across the edge of her largest tusk when lying, and frequently smooths her apron as though preparing for inspection. When angry, she becomes perfectly still except for the rhythmic flexing of her fingers.
