Rukhar Redtusk
Raiding Captain
Rukhar Redtusk
Species
Goroth
Appearance
Rukhar Redtusk is a broad-shouldered Goroth with the heavy, forward-leaning posture of a mountain bull. His skin has the color and rough texture of weathered red clay, crossed by old knife scars that shine pale against it. One tusk is capped in hammered copper, while the other has been cracked and bound with black cord. His movements are surprisingly quiet for someone so large, each step placed with deliberate care as though he were stalking across thin ice. A mane of coarse black hair hangs in uneven ropes around his head, stiff with ash, pine resin, and dried rain. He wears the expression of a man perpetually listening to a distant drum. The contradiction is unsettling: despite his brutal reputation, he carries a tiny white moth in a glass bead at his throat and touches it gently whenever he believes nobody is watching.
“His voice is a low, gravelly rumble that seems to come from the chest rather than the throat. He pauses often, allowing silence to become part of his intimidation.”

Three parallel scars run from his right eyebrow to the edge of his jaw.
His left hand has only three fingers, each ending in a blunt black claw.
A glass bead containing a white moth hangs at his throat.

Voice
“Low, gravelly, deliberate, with a harsh Goroth cadence softened by years of speaking Common”
Clothing
A smoke-black hide coat stitched with strips of red-dyed wool, layered over a patched iron scale vest. His belt carries bone tally sticks for captives, copper rings taken from defeated officers, and a faded blue scarf that belonged to his sister. His boots are wrapped in rawhide to muffle his steps.
Body Language
Rukhar keeps his chin lowered and his shoulders angled toward the nearest threat. He rests two fingers on his copper-capped tusk when weighing a decision. During moments of unexpected kindness, his hands become awkward and gentle, as if they belong to someone much younger.
