Luthkri Kitali
Beggar
Luthkri Kitali
Species
Sylvari, Woodland Elf
Appearance
Luthkri is a long-limbed sylvari with the narrow, weathered frame of someone who has survived on too little food and too much vigilance. His green-brown skin has the matte texture of dried leaves, interrupted by pale mineral scars that stripe his knuckles, jaw, and left shoulder like spilled chalk. His ears are torn at the tips, and one is pierced with a small iron nail that he refuses to remove. He walks with a pronounced limp when watched, but moves almost silently when he thinks no one is looking. His face suggests exhaustion until he smiles, revealing a chipped canine and an unexpectedly gentle expression. The contradictory impression he leaves is of a ruined beggar who notices everything, including beauty, and refuses to let the city take that from him.
“His voice is low, breathy, and careful, with clipped consonants and a faint Aylpian rasp. He speaks slowly when begging, rapidly when giving escape instructions, and almost sings when reciting the names of the dead.”

Distinguishing Features
Pale mineral scars across the left shoulder and knuckles
A chipped left canine and a smile that appears at inappropriate moments
An iron nail piercing the upper rim of his right ear
A limp he exaggerates in public but loses in darkness
Fingertips permanently darkened by coal dust
Voice
“A dry, gentle murmur that becomes startlingly forceful when he speaks about children, chains, or abandoned workers.”
Clothing
A patched ochre cloak made from grain sacks, a faded blue scarf wrapped three times around his throat, mismatched sandals, fingerless gloves, and a belt of braided grass hidden beneath his tunic. Several patches conceal pockets rather than holes.
Body Language
He keeps his shoulders rounded and one hand curled as though protecting an old injury. His eyes constantly track feet, hands, and exits. When someone speaks kindly to him, his head tilts like a listening bird, and his guarded posture briefly falls away.
