Appearance
Senna is a compact dwarven woman whose face has the broad, sturdy geometry of the tunnels she grew up beneath. Her features are rounder than a human's, with high cheekbones, a square jaw, and a nose that was broken once and set slightly crooked. Her chestnut hair is gathered into a loose braid that falls past her shoulders, though short strands constantly escape around her temples. Her dark brown eyes are sharp as flint, quick to irritation and quicker still to notice weakness in a wall, a person, or an argument. Her warm olive skin is marked by pale dust scars across the knuckles and one silvery seam beneath her left ear. She moves with the grounded certainty of someone who trusts stone more than floors, rolling one shoulder before stepping into confined spaces. The unexpected thing about her is her smile, which is unexpectedly gentle and almost shy, despite the hard, watchful impression she leaves behind.
“Low, clipped, and practical, with a dry humor that surfaces when she is tired. She speaks in short sentences during danger and becomes unexpectedly eloquent when describing stone, tools, or the people she has lost.”

Distinguishing Features
A crooked nose from an old training accident.
A pale scar beneath her left ear shaped like a branching crack.
A brass ring in her right ear that she rubs when anxious.
Callused hands with black mineral staining permanently worked into the creases.
A smile so gentle it contradicts her otherwise severe presence.
Voice
“A low contralto with a rough edge, like a shovel dragged over packed gravel. Her voice becomes almost whisper-soft when she is afraid.”
Clothing
A simple deep-blue tunic tied at the waist with a leather cord, worn over a sweat-softened linen shirt. Sturdy trousers are held by thick leather braces wrapped around her hips. Her heavy boots are polished at the ankles but scuffed at the toes, and a brass ring hangs from her right ear.
Body Language
Senna plants both feet before speaking, as if bracing against an unseen shift. When angry, she rubs the brass ring in her right ear with her thumb. When moved by kindness, she looks down and pretends to inspect her boots.
