Appearance
Eldric looks like a man assembled from road dust, old iron, and stubborn hope. His face is narrow and weather-browned, with a crooked nose that healed badly and a pale wolf-bite scar disappearing beneath his jaw. He moves with the careful economy of someone trying not to wake an old injury, yet in the saddle he becomes startlingly fluid, leaning into turns like a reed in river wind. His left shoulder is bound beneath his coat, and one sleeve hangs stiffly. The contradictory impression is that of a battered, visibly exhausted rider whose eyes remain bright, alert, and almost boyishly curious.
