Sahshur Vezhketi
Fighter, Oathscar Initiate
Sahshur Vezhketi
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Sahshur is a lean, long-limbed tiefling whose movements are unusually quiet for someone carrying armor and a shield. His horns sweep backward like narrow ram horns, but their ridges have been polished smooth by years of nervous handling. His skin has the deep red-brown tone of fired clay, crossed by thin pale scars that resemble cracks in glazed pottery. A forked tail curls around his left ankle when he is anxious. He has the unsettling habit of smiling at moments of genuine grief, yet his eyes become cold and solemn when someone speaks of cruelty as if it were ordinary. He leaves behind the impression of a candle burning in a sealed room, warm at first, then suffocating.
“His voice is low, breathy, and sibilant, with a soft rasp on s and sh sounds. He speaks Common with the measured cadence of a village storyteller and pronounces Infernal words as if they were prayers he dislikes remembering.”

Distinguishing Features
Pale pottery-like scars across his neck and left cheek
A brass child-sized charm worn beneath his collar
A tail that coils around his ankle when he is anxious
Smoothly polished horn ridges from years of nervous touching
A smile that appears at inappropriate moments of grief
Voice
“A quiet, smoky baritone that becomes almost tender when speaking to frightened people and unnervingly formal when issuing threats.”
Clothing
A soot-gray gambeson beneath dark chain mail, a faded saffron sash tied around his waist, and a sleeveless red wool coat embroidered with tiny white geometric knots. His boots are patched with mismatched leather. He wears a child-sized brass charm beneath his collar, hidden against his throat.
Body Language
He stands with his shield angled slightly inward, as if protecting his ribs from an unseen companion. His tail coils tightly when he is afraid and drifts loose when he is preparing to attack. During sincere conversation, he leans forward until his horns nearly enter the other person's personal space.
