Mizrah Sayeq
Druid, Circle of Spores
Mizrah Sayeq
Species
High Elf Dhampir
Appearance
Mizrah stands with the stillness of a hunting spider, his weight balanced on the balls of his feet and his spear held as naturally as a walking staff. His face is finely elven but subtly starved, with high cheekbones, a narrow jaw, and lips that are almost too red against his pallid skin. Fine blue veins show at his temples when he is hungry. His hair falls in uneven black sheets to his shoulders, glossy like wet raven feathers, though a single white lock curls behind his right ear. His eyes are pale amber around perfectly black pupils, giving the unsettling impression that candlelight stops at the center of each gaze. He moves quietly and economically, but his sudden turns are unnervingly abrupt, like a spider changing direction on a wall. Despite his gothic appearance, he has laugh lines around his mouth and keeps one sleeve visibly patched with cheerful yellow thread.
“His speech is measured and quiet, with clipped elven vowels softened by a Levantine cadence. He pauses before names, as though deciding whether the person deserves to be remembered.”

Distinguishing Features
Perfectly black pupils surrounded by pale amber irises.
A pair of tiny puncture scars beneath the left ribs that resemble a spider's two foremost eyes.
A white lock of hair that curls like a hooked leg.
His wooden shield bears eight removable black pins, one for each person he has failed to protect.
A faint pattern of branching veins appears across his hands after sunset.
Voice
“Low, soft, and dry, with a faint rasp beneath the calm. His laugh is unexpectedly warm and brief, while his angry voice becomes almost gentle.”
Clothing
He wears layered dark brown leather armor reinforced with braided bark and lacquered strips of yew, never metal. The armor is stitched with burgundy thread into subtle spiderweb patterns. His round wooden shield is painted black and sealed with wax, bearing a pale eight-legged spider whose abdomen resembles a crescent moon. A hooded moss-green mantle hangs from his shoulders, and small bone charms click softly at his belt.
Body Language
Mizrah tilts his head in small, precise movements when listening. His shield remains between himself and anyone who raises their voice, but he lowers the spear whenever a frightened person approaches. When hungry, he presses his tongue against one canine and becomes unnaturally motionless.
