Matzin Quor
Bard
Matzin Quor
Species
Bronze Dragonborn
Appearance
A broad-shouldered bronze dragonborn with a strangely careful way of moving, as if every step has been rehearsed for a crowded stage. His scales are dull copper-bronze along the face and shoulders, but polished gold at the knuckles and throat from years of habitual rubbing. A split horn curls above his left brow, and the other is capped with a tiny silver ring that chimes when he turns his head. He keeps his heavy tail tucked close in public, yet it betrays every strong emotion by sweeping impatiently across the ground. Despite his imposing size, he has a gentle, almost apologetic smile and the soft hands of someone who repairs instruments rather than wields weapons.
“His voice is low, velvety, and surprisingly gentle for his size. He speaks with measured pauses, as if listening for the next note beneath every sentence.”

Distinguishing Features
A split left horn fitted with a chiming silver ring
A pale scar across the right side of his muzzle from the riot that destroyed his home
Golden scales on his knuckles caused by an unusual hereditary pattern
A tail that wraps around his ankles when he feels ashamed
A faint smell of citrus oil and lamp smoke clinging to his clothing
Voice
“A warm baritone with a faint rasp, like polished wood dragged across a drumhead. His laughter begins as a breathy rumble and ends in a bright, embarrassed chirp.”
Clothing
Well-maintained guard scale armor beneath a sleeveless deep-green coat, reinforced riding boots, a red sash bearing the Lantern Gate colors, fingerless gloves, and a battered blue scarf inherited from his mother. His uniform is regulation-issued, but every buckle has been polished into the shape of a small crescent moon.
Body Language
He leans slightly toward people when they speak, lowering his head so his horns do not loom over them. His tail curls around his ankles when he feels guilty and lashes once, sharply, before he tells a lie. In combat he plants his feet like a dancer finding a beat, shoulders relaxed and saber held low.
