Their skin is weathered copper-brown, creased deeply around a mouth that rarely smiles without calculation. Their hands are knotted and trembling at rest, but become unnervingly steady when shaping magic. Their ragged silhouette suggests frailty, while the impression they leave is of a trapped animal that has already chosen where to bite. The contradictory detail is their immaculate fingernails, carefully polished with ash despite their filthy surroundings.
