Nahrima Qusay
Rogue
Nahrima Qusay
Species
Tiefling
Appearance
Nahrima is a lean tiefling woman whose movements are quiet, economical, and oddly domestic, as if every ruined street were a kitchen she knows by memory. Her dull crimson skin is filmed with pale grit that gathers in the creases of her knuckles and along her horns. One horn is smooth and carefully polished, while the other is cracked, wrapped in blue thread, and capped with a rusted thimble. Her face looks severe at first, but a deep dimple appears in her left cheek whenever she lies. She walks with a slight forward stoop, yet can spring upright with startling speed. The contradictory impression she leaves is that of a starved scavenger who somehow carries herself like a meticulous hostess waiting for guests.
“Her voice is low, dry, and carefully controlled, with Levantine and Turkic-flavored vowel rhythms. She speaks slowly when lying and rapidly when telling the truth.”

Distinguishing Features
A cracked horn wrapped in blue thread and capped with a rusted thimble.
A left-cheek dimple that appears whenever she lies.
A pale burn scar shaped like a crescent beneath her right eye.
A small brass button sewn into her palm wrap, stamped with the emblem of a vanished caravan house.
Her tail has been cut short near the tip and ends in a blunt, scarred point.
Voice
“A hushed contralto with a smoky edge, like cloth dragged over stone. She becomes ceremonially polite when frightened and almost sings when discussing useful objects.”
Clothing
Layered rags made from faded caravan curtains, grain sacks, and strips of old prayer cloth. She wears a cracked cooking pot as a shoulder guard, knotted cord around both ankles, and a belt made from braided electrical wire. Nothing matches, but everything has been deliberately repaired.
Body Language
She keeps her hands folded over her stomach when calm, but separates her fingers whenever she is deciding whether to steal or attack. Her tail curls around the nearest solid object while she sleeps.
