Lysara Deepwell
Lesser Deity of Burials and Merciful Endings
Lysara Deepwell
Species
Outsider
Appearance
Lysara Deepwell resembles a slender woman shaped from moonlit river clay, with skin that seems dry at a distance but gleams with fine beads of water when viewed closely. Her movements are slow, intimate, and almost weightless, as if she is always walking through waist-deep water. Her smile is gentle enough to invite confession, yet her shadow sometimes lies facedown even when she stands upright. She leaves behind the impression of having been remembered by someone the observer never knew.
“Her voice is low, close, and melodious, as if spoken beside the listener's ear from the bottom of a well. She never rushes a sentence.”

Distinguishing Features
A thin line of dark water runs from her left eye whenever someone nearby lies about the dead.
Her fingernails are translucent and contain tiny moving silhouettes of fish.
Her shadow sometimes points toward the nearest grave instead of following the light.
A silver ring made from a coffin nail hangs around her throat on a thread of black hair.
Voice
“A soft contralto with the resonance of water moving through underground stone.”
Clothing
A sleeveless robe of layered charcoal linen and translucent blue-black gauze, fastened with vertebra-shaped silver clasps. Her hem is always damp and carries tiny white flowers that bloom from no visible soil.
Body Language
Lysara leans toward speakers with the attentive stillness of someone listening beside a deathbed. She touches doorframes, gravestones, and cups before using them. When angered, she does not tense or raise her voice. Instead, every nearby reflection turns to face her.
