Ashes on the Olive Wall
Ashes on the Olive Wall
“Hold the wall, save the shrine, and survive the night before the sea beneath Crete answers the raid.”
— Hook · defend
“Konossos is under attack, and the monsters are not raiding for food. They are probing the village like a hand testing for weakness, and by sundown they will either find a breach or meet a defender strong enough to break their plan. Lincoln Loud has arrived with demigod strength and a gamer system's impossible growth, but the village still needs someone to hold the line while the truth is uncovered.”
— Hook · defend
As dusk turns the white stone of Konossos gold, the warning bell fails halfway through its first ring and screams cut across the olive terraces. Smoke rises from the goat pens, figures move at the edge of the road, and Lincoln Loud calls for defenders to the wall while the villagers look to the party for the first answer.
Lincoln Loud
Lincoln Loud rallies the defenders in the square and asks the party to take the critical points he cannot personally cover.

Background Lore
Konossos sits beneath old olive groves and white hills where the villagers still leave bowls of milk at stone shrines to keep the older powers asleep. In recent nights, something has been taking livestock, breaking wells, and slamming the gates as if testing the village for a larger assault. The people whisper that a hero has arrived in the form of Lincoln Loud, a level 45 gamer-saint with a demigod body, but even he cannot stand watch at every wall at once.
Monsters are attacking Konossos in repeated waves, and the village needs defenders to hold the walls, protect the shrine, and drive off the raiders before the settlement is overrun. The heroes must move quickly between the breach points, keep panic from spreading, and uncover which enemy is coordinating the assaults.
