Set the Scene

Sister Liora hands over a sealed scroll and refuses to meet your eyes. She says the Temple of First Light is hiding a vault beneath the Sunwell, that someone named Maltren is moving to purge it, and that the Codex of Imprisonment may hold proof no priest should ever be allowed to bury. She opens the hidden route, then asks you to bring back truth instead of glory.

Beneath the Temple of First Light lies the Lost Archive of Dawnkeep, a sealed vault built to hide relics too dangerous for public devotion. The Sunwell above it feeds radiant wards that awaken celestial guardians and erase traces of intrusion, while hidden hands inside the Temple prepare to purge the archive before its contents can be exposed. Sister Liora Sunshard has risked her vows to bring the party a sealed route into the vault and a warning that High Inquisitor Maltren is moving to seize the archive first.
