Set the Scene

The party stands at the base of the Ironshriek Bastion, a massive obsidian and iron fortress carved into the cliffside. The usual deafening howl of the wind passing through its battlements is gone, replaced by an unsettling, rhythmic thudding from deep within the rock.

Recently, Master Arkanos, the lead artificer, went silent after claiming to have found a way to transcribe the 'song of the earth' into weaponized steel.
