Mara Venn meets the party outside the locked chapel, a sleep-deprived crowd gathering behind her. She points toward the barrow hills and begs the party to find what is ringing the bells before another dusk falls.

Stakes

If the bell rings three more times, the sleeping curse will spread to the entire village and the missing people may be lost to the tomb forever.

Background Lore

The village of Brackenford sits beside old barrow hills where the dead were once honored and then forgotten. In the last week, livestock has vanished, a grave has been opened from the inside, and three townsfolk have fallen into a strange sleep after hearing bells at dusk.

What the World Knows

A village is being haunted by a dusk bell, and people are disappearing after hearing it. The party must investigate the graveyard, uncover who is behind the tolling, and stop the source before more villagers vanish.
