Mirelle Prys
Species
Catfolk, human and feline-blooded hybrid
Appearance
Mirelle is a lithe, half-feline woman with the poised balance of a dancer and the wary stillness of a hunting cat. Her tawny skin is patterned with faint cream rosettes that become visible only in warm lamplight. A heavy mane of muted copper curls falls to her waist, threaded with blue glass beads and tiny brass keys. Her ears are rounded at the tips rather than sharply pointed, one permanently nicked from a childhood knife fight. She moves with astonishing quiet, yet deliberately lets her bracelets chime when entering a room, making people notice her before they realize she has chosen the moment. Her smile is soft and maternal, but her eyes remain calculating even while she embraces a friend. The unexpected contradiction is her hands: broad, scarred, and callused like a dockworker's, despite the elegance of everything else about her.
“Her voice is low, musical, and gently rounded, with a faint western lilt. She speaks slowly enough to make every word feel chosen.”

Distinguishing Features
A nicked left ear with a tiny gold ring through the scar.
A pale crescent-shaped birthmark beneath her right eye.
A tail with a white tip stained permanently pink from a childhood dye accident.
Hands marked by old burns from the Salt Riots.
A habit of wearing one mismatched earring belonging to someone she has lost.
Voice
“A mellow contralto with a velvet texture, a faint western lilt, and a purring resonance that becomes almost inaudible when she is truly angry.”
Clothing
She wears layered plum, cream, and deep teal garments beneath a fitted velvet coat. Her clothing is tasteful rather than revealing, designed with hidden pockets, reversible seams, and easy movement. A narrow silver chain around her throat holds a small wooden bead carved into the shape of a sleeping cat.
Body Language
She sits sideways in chairs with one knee tucked beneath her, tail curled around the furniture leg. When listening sincerely, she tilts her head and slowly blinks. When lying, she becomes unnaturally still except for the tip of her tail, which taps once against the floor every few seconds.
